EPBC Act Referral Lodged for the South Australian component of Project EnergyConnect

ElectraNet has lodged their Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation (EPBC) referral with the Commonwealth Department of the Environment and Energy and the public comment period is now open.

Renmark Paringa Council & ElectraNet unveil Project EnergyConnect information hub

As reported in The Murray Pioneer - 'Riverlanders can provide assistance and feedback regarding the proposed construction of a power interconnector through the region at information hubs set up by energy contractor ElectraNet. Interactive iPads can now be found at numerous public outlets across the Riverland, which can be used by locals to discuss any social or environmental issues surrounding project EnergyConnect.
